The Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) is designed for the HR professional who works across international lines and must have an understanding of the profession when dealing with different countries and national guidelines. The GPHR exams focus on the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully operate in a global marketplace. A typical GPHR candidate will have two-to-four years of cross border experience at developing and implementing global HR strategies.

 

Eligibility Requirements

 

A minimum of 2 years of global experience in a professional-level HR position with a Master's degree or higher, OR

A minimum of 3 years of experience (with 2 of the 3 being global HR experience) in a professional-level HR position with a Bachelor's degree, OR

A minimum of 4 years of experience (with 2 of the 4 being global HR experience) in a professional-level HR position with less than a Bachelor's degree

Exam format and Price

  • Computer-based Testing (CBT)
  • 165 questions (140 scored, 25 pre-test)
  • 3 hours in length

Note: Global HR experience is defined as having direct HR responsibility for more than one country or global region. An applicant who works for a company that operates in two or more countries, but who does not have HR responsibility for more than one country, is not eligible for the GPHR exam.
